On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 7pm, (Yingling Aircraft Inc. Maintenance Hanger,2010 Airport Rd, Eisenhower Airport) the AOPA Air Safety Institute and the FAA Safety Team will hold a seminar - "Nontowered Case Studies" examining safety at pilot controlled airports.
Flying at nontowered fields is a balancing act. Especially on busy days, it demands concentration, communication, sharp eyes, solid stick-and-rudder skills, and the ability to improvise at a moment’s notice. Sometimes the margin for error can be very slim.
